"Lord of Death... Lord of Hell!" - Dracula after having been turned into a vampire had gotten revenge against Turac the invading Turk who murdered his wife Maria. After burying his wife in the woods, the naked Dracula vows to get revenge against the whole world for the death of his wife. He then notices, far off in the sky, other vampires like himself approaching. Waiting to greet them, he is attacked and easily overpowered and the vampires carry him off into the night sky. Dracula revives to find himself before Nimrod the First, the king of the vampires. Nimrod orders Dracula to claim his loyalty to him, however, Dracula only threatens Nimrod's death. Nimrod accepts Dracula's challenge and tells him that the next day they will fight the Tournament of Stakes. "Shadow in the City of Light!" - Dracula is being shipped into France, and his arrival is anticipated by one Helene DuBois who is attempting to drive a stake into Dracula's heart. Unfortunately, she attempts to do so at dusk and Dracula awakens in enough time to stop her. Intrigued to know why this woman attempted to kill him, sensing a greater motivation, Dracula decides to spare her life so that he might learn the reason. "Castle of the Undead" - The Puritan adventurer Solomon Kane is searching for the lost Rosella Carson in Transylvania. He is attacked by bandits and is then saved from a pack of wolves by Count Dracula. Kane accepts the Count's invitation and recuperates in his castle. During the night, he is attacked by a mysterious girl, who turns out to be Rosella transformed into a vampire.
